Baymax has no money but found an employee instead. Baymax politely and calmly told them that he needs to get a small city’s worth of pads and tampons right away, you see he has a patient and it’s very urgent, and the cashier who does NOT get paid enough to argue with or explain the concept of capitalism to an 8 foot tall crimefighting robot was like “man, just go”
Baymax knows exactly how money and capitalism works but thinks it has no place in medicine, and regularly just straight-up shoplifts in the name of free and effective healthcare
I always found the cover for chapter 348 strange. Ochako looking away, like she’s on her own now, determined, stronger, Izuku looking at us, covered in green and ORANGE, the whole cover being green and orange, Katsuki’s narration about Izuku being oblivious to someone’s ROMANTIC feelings, the chapter being called UNREQUITED.
And we know this isn’t about Toga. Because as soon as Izuku rejects her she just goes “WELP IM OVER HIM NOW” I think this, the cover, the narration, Izuku’s dismissal of Toga’s idea of love as simple admiration and the chapter name.. is a hint for Ochako’s unrequited “feelings”. But she knows it and that’s why she’s facing away on the chapter cover, looking determined, almost distant.. because she’s made up her mind to stop thinking about Deku and follow her own path from now on! As stated here.
Meanwhile the chapter left Izuku’s and Katsuki’s possible relationship intact and even hinted at it with the narration oddly sounding exactly like Katsuki given he’s not good with WORDS or AFFECTION, with Izuku mentioning Allmight instead of Katsuki to shut down Toga’s idea of love.. because if he brought Katsuki up here, it would be game over for bakudeku. And the whole chapter cover despite it being Ochako and Izuku it’s being painted in bkdk color scheme not only as decoration on the page but also with orange painted all over Izuku..it’s so.. obvious? Katsuki isn’t even a part of this chapter. No one mentions him, he doesn’t show up. He has no business being here and yet.. the chapter cover and the narration which reminds us of him and the whole Izuku subconsciously imitating Katsuki and Toga talking about THIS exactly…are there for a reason. We see so many different imitations in MHA from admiration to inspiration to obsession.. like in the latest chapter, Tokoyami imitates Deku’s smash punch to break off AFO’s mask.. Izuku once shot black whip out of his mouth like Tsuyu.. he spent a while trying to be exactly like All might, hurting himself in the process and Ochako hurt herself in the process of trying to be like Deku… but there is only one different relationship here and it’s Izuku and Katsuki. Because Izuku imitates Katsuki willingly AND subconsciously.. he imitates his good AND bad sides.. he is okay with his flaws.. he doesn’t idolise him. And many times he doesn’t even THINK about it. Prime example where in his worst moment yet he’s ever had during a battle, he reminds a lot of an angry KACCHAN:
And I don’t know how this isn’t so obvious to everyone cause I feel like it’s LITERALLY spelled out for us. Am I delusional? Like what’s going on? And to top it off as soon as Izuku leaves Toga and Ochako what does he do? He imitates Kacchan.
Hori loves little details like this.. he’s done this before and this chapter.. chapter 348 is going to be very relevant in the future for Izuku’s and Katsuki’s relationship. Because there are way too many clues put together for them to all mean nothing.. and if Hori wanted to shut down Bakudeku, all he had to do was have Izuku bring up Katsuki alongside Almight as someone he wants to be like but doesn’t have romantic feelings for and yet.. Horikoshi didn’t do this. But he painted the entire chapter with Katsuki Bakugo, from the cover, to the narration and the idea of imitation and love..without him even being in it.
He doesn’t just steal it though. He puts it on his own head. He takes it, tries it on, looks around (I swear like he’s going “Look look I’m a Human! Don’t I look good in my Human head-thing?”) then gives it back. There is so much playful and good-natured intelligence in this one gesture I’m losing my mind here. Elephants are too freaking good for us.
This is a very small thing but that means, to an elephant, the top of their head is where they put the hat. That is not what I’d consider the top of their head lol.
They’re placing the hat right over their eyes, like how we wear them

The human who brought forth the question of purchase with intent to terraform, one named Abagail, interrupted. “Dwarf planet. It’s only 600 miles around the entire planet. That’s less than half of our continents, certainly within our competence.”
Therin, the Hywe who led the council, did not show Abagail how annoyed he was at her interruption. “It’s size is not the only concern. This planet has no atmosphere. You humans may be able to adjust an existing atmosphere, but you cannot create one on a planet whose gravity is too small to hold on to it.”
“If you’ll please look at page 47 of the document, you’ll see our plans to build an atmosphere sphere around the entire planet, along with the pressure variable ports to allow for ferrying of passengers to and from the planet surface.”
Therin didn’t move for a moment, trying to judge if this was a human joke. He finally did flip to the appropriate page, and sure enough, the plans were there. In agonizingly human detail. He glanced at his fellow council members.
“All of this would have to be looked at and approved by our technicians of course,” Lowri offered, eager to support Therin.
Abagail easily hid the smile that other species found offensive, the one that proves she knew she was winning. “You should see the stamp of approval from several renowned architects, engineers, and tacticians if you flip to page 54.”
Therin didn’t want to. He did, but he didn’t want to. The page full of approvals from the very beings he was going to use to shoot this nonsense down stared back, mocking him.
“This will not be a cheap endeavor. I assume you have funds available?” Therin guessed, knowing already that this too would be an ineffective block to the insane request.
Abagail nodded. “Yes, we have set aside funds for each section of the project, and will only need a loan for the final phase. Should we not be able to complete the final phase, the planet with its new atmosphere and life-sustaining capabilities will be sold.”
Therin flipped helplessly through the rest of the document. Everything was in order, any concern was verified, and plans to address them were documented. One last glance to his fellow council members and he began the silent vote.
The results were immediate. Therin sagged in defeat.
“Your request has been approved.”
“Thank you.”
“There’s just one last thing we need to know in order to file. What is the new name of this planet?”
